Field Hockey vs Dover-Sherborn Recap

After attending the girls field hockey game on October 3rd, 2018 I am blown away. Freshman goalie, Talia Fruci, looked a little shaky in the first half, but was a brick wall in the back 30. The Raiders were packing the heat in the first half and ended up going up 2-0 after the first 30 minutes. In the first minute of the 2nd half Allie McDonough buries a rebound to cut the Raider lead in half. DS and the Mustangs went back and forth having long stretches in each respective defensive end. In the dying minutes of the game Dover-Sherborn goalie covered the ball and the Stangs were given a stroke (field hockey word for "Penalty Shot") and Allie McDonough zips in the opportunity to tie the game up with just over 90 seconds left in the game. Mustangs with the unreal comeback and the 2-2 tie to improve to 5-2-2 overall.

Update: 10/16 Allie Martin scores GWG vs Holliston to clinch a tournament berth for the fhockey team. Next game 10/18 vs Dedham for the Pink game.
